The Folkloric Group Central Brazil represents the State of Goiás at the Rio Quente Resort

RIO QUENTE, 27 of August, 2010 – The Folkloric Group Central Brazil (GFBC) was present at the Rio Quente Resort, Goías, between the days of 23 and 27 of August, 2010, saluting the public for the fifth year in a row with their graceful dances. The GFBC shared its rich cultural repertoire in an intense and vibrant display of dance and music, which conveyed the Goiánian culture in the spectacle “Colors of the Savannah”.

Youth engage in training sessions at the 1st Seminar of the Agency of Youth Entrepreneurs

ANÁPOLIS, 21 of August, 2010 – Today, the 1st Seminar of AJE (Agency of Youth Entrepreneurs) took place at SESI-CAT Branca de Lima Porto in the municipality of Anápolis, Goiás. The event was aimed at training in entrepreneurialism and involved the participation of close to 300 youth between the ages of 16 and 29 years, coming from 13 municipalities of the state of Goiás. The youth participated in lectures, workshops and other educational activities. This was the first of four AJE training seminars that will take place this year.

AJE holds training workshops for facilitators in preparation for the Agency’s activities

ANÁPOLIS, 25 of July, 2010 – On the days of 16-18 and 23-25 of July, a group of young facilitators of the Agency of Youth Entrepreneurs “Support for the Economic Empowerment of Young Entrepreneurs” participated in all-day training sessions. The first edition of the project is taking place in the state of Goiás, and is being executed in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and IIDAC. AJE involves the participation of youth spread across 13 municipalities in the state of Goiás, including Anápolis, Inhumas, Petrolina de Goiás, Goianápolis, Gameleira de Goiás, Pirenópolis, Leopoldo de Bulhões, Campo limpo de Goiás, Silvânia, Nova Veneza, Nerópolis, and Terezópolis de Goiás.
